After sailing smoothly through the CBSE Term 1 Board Exams 2022, which were based on MCQ pattern, the students of Class 12 have buckled up for the last leg of CBSE Board Exams 2021-22. The CBSE Term 2 Board Exams have been proposed to be conducted in the pen-paper mode and the pattern of the exam will be subjective. This implies that the students will have to write descriptive answers whose length would vary in accordance with the marks carried by the questions.

Although Science is one of the most scoring and interesting subjects in the CBSE Class 10th curriculum, subject experts reveal that a majority of students struggle while preparing for the Science paper. This is because the subject is highly conceptual and needs more practical-bases teaching methods to help children get a hang of the subject. Moreover, with the bifurcation of exams by CBSE into Term 1 and Term 2 in 2021, students are finding it difficult to cover those important topics that carry maximum weightage in all three Science subjects; Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Thus, to facilitate the convenience of CBSE Class 10 students in preparing for the Science exam, the syllabus and marks distribution for Term 2 Exams has been mentioned herewith. Candidates are advised to cover the syllabus at least a month before the Term 2 exams, so that they could revise the entire syllabus thoroughly and secure good marks too.
